ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION


Deposit - Some packages and special events require full payment at the time you make your reservations. Daily rates do not include applicable taxes for charges for any other services.

Cancellations and Changes - Requests for cancellation or changes may be made by calling 845-786-2731. We must receive requests for cancellation of or change to your reservations at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to your scheduled arrival date. If you fail to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, your reservation will be canceled and you will not receive any refund or credit. We strictly enforce our cancellation/change policy and do not allow any exceptions.

Special Requests - Special requests are at the management’s sole discretion and noted in the reservation system. However, we cannot guarantee any specific rooms or locations.

Cooking - Cooking is only allowed with provided microwave.

Check-in and Check-out Times
- Accommodations will be available after 3pm of your scheduled arrival date. Check out time is 11am on your scheduled departure date. 

Non-Smoking Facility
- All public areas are "non-smoking" and smoking is prohibited in these areas.

Bear Awareness
– Bear Mountain is a natural bear habitat.

Entrance Fee – A $7.00 (per vehicle) entrance fee will be charged at the time you enter a Bear Mountain State Park parking lot. Complimentary parking is available for lodging guests.

Gift Shop - Pick up all your Bear Mountain souvenirs or gifts at the Lodge Gift Shop or Stand 10.  We carry a variety of unique gifts for all ages, from children's plush toys to apparel and logo keepsakes. 

Pet Friendly Lodging - Bear Mountain offers pet-friendly guest rooms for your furry travel companions.  Bear Mountain welcomes non-aggressive (people and animals) pets; however we do insist that guests clean up after your animals. Service animals are always welcome. Pets must be declared during guest registration and a $45 non-refundable pet fee applies per room, plus $5 per additional day. *Max of two pets per room. Pets may not be left alone in the room unless in a cage.

  • Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.
  • Pet must comply with local legislation requirements.
  • Pet must be kept on a leash when in the hotel or on hotel property unless it is in the guest's room.
  • Pets must not be left unattended unless in a cage.
  • Pets are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets, health club and pool areas of the hotel. This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on hotel property and in the neighborhood.
  • Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
  • Guests must contact the housekeeping department to arrange for a convenient time for servicing their room.
  • Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's pet.
  • The hotel reserves the right to charge guest's account commensurate to the cost of such damages.
